2 Chronicles Chapter 31 After the Passover celebration, the people are so enthused that they decide to head out and destroy idols all over the country. The Israelites who came down for Passover go back to their homes. Later, King Hezekiah decides to make some organizational changes in the Temple. He wants to be sure that there’s enough on hand for offerings to God and to support the priests and Levites. The king donates items for offerings and sacrifices, but the people who live in Jerusalem are responsible for bringing food and supplies for the priests and Levites. They work for God and he doesn’t pay very well, so they need to rely on the community to give them food, clothes, and data plans. Again, the people are happy to give. They bring heaps of food and livestock to the Temple and the priests end up having a surplus of donations. Since there’s so much left over, King Hezekiah arranges for the extras to be sent to priests and Levites in other cities. In case we couldn’t figure it out, the Chronicler lets us know one last time how amazing Hezekiah is. He serves God and lives by the law his entire life. That’s why things go so well for him during his reign. 1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. https://temtube.com/#followforfollowback#bible#bibleverse#jesus#jesuschrist
