Guard yourself against all kinds of greed. After all, one\u2019s life isn\u2019t determined by one\u2019s possessions, even when someone is very wealthy.\u201d 16Then he told them a parable: \u201cA certain rich man\u2019s land produced a bountiful crop. 17He said to himself, What will I do? I have no place to store my harvest! 18Then he thought, Here\u2019s what I\u2019ll do. I\u2019ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. That\u2019s where I\u2019ll store all my grain and goods. 19I\u2019ll say to myself, You have stored up plenty of goods, enough for several years. Take it easy! Eat, drink, and enjoy yourself. 20But God said to him, \u2018Fool, tonight you will die.
