A man with two sons told the older boy, \u2018Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.\u2019 29The son answered, \u2018No, I won\u2019t go,\u2019 but later he changed his mind and went anyway. 30Then the father told the other son, \u2018You go,\u2019 and he said, \u2018Yes, sir, I will.\u2019 But he didn\u2019t go. 31 \u201cWhich of the two obeyed his father?\u201d They replied, \u201cThe first.\u201d Then Jesus explained his meaning: \u201cI tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do. 32For John the Baptist came and showed you the right way to live, but you didn\u2019t believe him, while tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even when you saw this happening, you refused to believe him and repent of your sins.
